CaseLocker v0.9.00
We are excited to announce version 0.9.00 of CaseLocker with the following new features and bug fixes.
New Features
Roles
Roles control what your users can do, from limiting who can perform bulk operations, client files & messages, create, edit, and read-only.
Security Groups
Security Groups control what your users can see, based on case type.
Users in a Case Type will be restricted from creating new Contacts or Cases, regardless of role set.
Answer Review Update

The Answer Review feature has undergone a visual update. If an answer has any comments, you’ll now see a persistent count indicator under the answer.
Flagging a question for review has been moved to a “Flag” menu that appears when you focus on an answer field.
Conditional Form Parts & Logic
You can now configure form parts (questions, sections, signatures, page breaks, paragraphs) to be conditional on an answer’s value.
Admin: Change a Case’s Case Type
Administrative users can now change the Case Type of a Case, after creation.
Non-admin users are unable to modify the case type of a case after it’s been created.
Page Breaks
A new form part, page breaks, have been added to your template builder. Page breaks allow you to split parts of your form onto new pages.
Branding Control & Favicon
Add your Favicon to CaseLocker, and rebrand CaseLocker with your own app name.
When changing your app name, a “Powered by CaseLocker” badge remains on settings pages, and in emails.
PDF Only Form Parts
You can now set certain form parts as “PDF Only”, which are not visible to the client and would be
Minor Changes & Bugfixes
A number of minor changes & bugfixes are included in this release:
- Sign On Submission: When a Contact returns from DocuSign, CaseLocker will not display the form they just signed in their Case as a form requiring attention. (This is a contact-side only change to resolve the gap between when a contact signs and when DocuSign tells CaseLocker the contact has signed)
- Contact-Side Service Banner: The service alert banner may now be displayed by LitigationLocker to Contacts, in the event of maintenance, service outages, etc.
- Contact Hidden Templates: You can now specify that a template will always be hidden from a Contact, regardless of status.
- HTML Editor: The Rich Text Editor now supports HTML editing in certain locations.
- Minimum/Default Rows: Minimum Rows, which set the minimum number of rows visible on a new form, has been changed to Default Rows. A new “Minimum Required Rows” defines the min. required to submit the form.
