Webhooks
Webhooks allow you to set up automatic notifications to a third-party service when something changes in CaseLocker.
CaseLocker also introduces support for Zapier (App pending approval) – with automatic webhook management for your Zaps.
There are currently 4 types of events that can trigger a webhook:
- New Inbound Message
When a new message from a contact comes in - New Outbound Message
When a new message to a contact is sent - New Contact File Upload
When a Contact uploads a file to their profile - Form Status Change
When a form changes it’s status
To manage your webhooks, select the settings cog in the top right and choose “My Organization”. Then, select the new “Webhooks” tab to create & manage your webhooks.

There are 4 options you can set when creating a webhook, all are required:
- Description
Give your webhook an identifiable name - Webhook URL
What URL to call when your webhook is triggered - Trigger
The event that will trigger your webhook - Enabled
Whether your webhook is enabled or not.

Using Zapier?
Zapier automatically creates & manages some webhooks for you, you’ll see Webhooks created with the “Zapier” prefix.
You’ll also see a warning banner letting you know the webhook was created by an integration, and to manage it in Zapier.
